Ray Christensen has been performing, teaching and composing music in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 30 years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from California State University, East Bay.

  • Composed,  produced and performed original music for Shakespeare’s “Comedy of Errors” (Orinda Starlight Village Players)

  • Produced pre-recorded orchestrations for “Jesus Christ Superstar” (Bay Area Stage)

  • Composed and produced original underscoring music for stage production of “The Canterville Ghost” (Bay Area Stage)

  • Transcribed and arranged additional orchestrations for productions of “Cabaret” and “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” (Cal State East Bay)

  • Arranged additional orchestrations for production of “I Love A Piano” (Douglas Morrisson Theatre; Hayward CA)

  • Produced accompaniment MP3s for rehearsals of Gilbert & Sullivan’s “Ruddigore” (Role Player’s Ensemble)

  • Arranger, singer and keyboardist for rock & roll band Grim Truth
